Gaming forBaldur’s Gate 3players has certainly had its ups and downs since therelease ofBaldur’s Gate 3Patch 6in mid-February. Baldur’s Gate 3Hotfix #21brings an end to the Enemy of Justice tag being incorrectly applied in certain conditions, meaning NPCs will allow progression through Mountain Pass, Créche Y’llek, the Shadow-Cursed Lands, and the Lower City to be (a little) less hostile. Minthara is again the star of many of the update’s scripting fixes, as she was in Hotfix #20, with this update providing a solution for the game not recognizing her knockout as a defeat, thereby preventing completion of the goblin camp quest. Minthy will also no longer spoil Act 3 with her greeting earlier on in the game.

Hotfix #21 also sees the return of a few favorite quality-of-life features with regards to inventory management.Baldur’s Gate 3players will again be able to send items to companions' inventories via the Traveler’s Chest or to a character back at camp. Traders' menus have again been tweaked, a continuing theme since the onslaught of trading issues brought on byBaldur’s Gate 3Patch 6.

While Xbox users will have to deal with some delay in order to enjoyBaldur’s Gate 3Hotfixes #20and #21, they should by no means feel ignored. As Larian Studios continues to test and refine the two hotfixes for the console, this update addresses a number of crashes reported by Xbox users. Considering how much of the crashes and blockers portion of the announcement is devoted to Xbox specifically, it’s likely the developers are well on their way to finding a solution that will allow those playing on Xbox to finally have access to the newerBaldur’s Gate 3updates.
