Director James Wan revealed the official title of the upcomingAquaman2film in a social media post on Thursday. In a close-up shot of a screen, with a caption that reads “The tide is rising,” Wan revealed that the film will be calledAquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

The image seems to be taken at a production meeting forAquaman 2since another photo shows a masked Wan sitting at a table with a name tag placed nearby. This goes to show that the film is finally picking up steam after having to wait a long time to even go into production due to Warner Bros.' busy schedule. Similar to other big DC projects, the plot of the much-awaited sequel has been kept a secret so far, but the official title does hint atthe tales of Aquaman and Atlantis.
