Animal Crossing: New Horizonsis all about creativity, with players customizing every bit of their islands to make their dream getaway destination. However, someAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsfans have brought the game to the real world, with one fan showing off a custom-made phone case.

When coming up with anAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsphone case, an artist has plenty to pull from. The game is full of colorful characters, ranging fromCJ and Flickto the newly added Brewster. Any aspect of the game could have been captured, too, with the designer working their home, favorite shop, or something else into the art. However, the creator of Redditor DaCheezBoss’ case ultimately went with a diving theme, likely due to an appreciation for the addictive mechanic.

Diving came toAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsin the summer of 2020, serving as one of the first major additions to the beloved game. Aside from just swimming around for fun, players can dive for sea creatures to sell at Nook’s Cranny or add to their museums. They can also hunt for the elusive pearls or trade scallops with Pascal, but to do so, they will need to wear one of the game’s diving suits. One of the many neat details that can be seen on DaCheezBoss’s phone case is the player character’s choice of outfit, as they are seen wearing the iconic diving suit with red and white stripes.

Some ofAnimal Crossing: New Horizons’ many fishcan be seen on the colorful case, including the game’s laughably big Sunfish. It is a bit smaller in this art, though its distinct appearance makes it unmistakable. Other sea critters include the incredibly common Sea Bass, a few Sea Horses, and a cute Crab on the sandy floor. However, the real star of the show is the villager accompanying the player character on their dive to the bottom of the sea.

Marina the Octopushas consistently been one of the most popular Villagers in the game, and for good reason. At launch, she was one of only three Octopus type Villagers, with Zucker and Octavian also being sought after. While the newly added Cephalobot has raised the Octopus count to four, Marina is still very rare, with many loving the pink Villager. Given that she is part of the Octopus species, she likely feels right at home around all the plants and bubbles that are surrounding her.

With some nice shades of blue used for the water, and plenty of different details to spot out, DaCheezBoss is likely very happy with how their phone case turned out. Considering that the post has around 900 upvotes, it is clear that a lot of otherAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayersappreciate the design as well.
