This odd mixture comes from u/Oldcrystalmouth, and it is a sight to behold. In their painting, the artist has the memorable 1969 Dodge Charger (known as the General Lee) fromThe Dukes of HazzardTV show making a wild jump. The twist comes from who is driving this vehicle: one of Tom Nook’s apprentices. Apparently, in The Nooks of Hazzard, these two anthropomorphic raccoons are replicating just what Bo and Luke Duke were known for in their own TV series. One of these animals is barely hanging on to the car as it flies through the air and the look of painting blends these two worlds surprisingly well. To do so the artist even made sure that the trees appear just like the onesplayers can find inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons.
Timmy and Tommy have been a part of the series for years and act as apprentices for Tom Nook, often helping run part of his business. While it isn’t made clear in theAnimal Crossingserieswhether these two are brothers, their reliance on one another makes their relationship quite similar to that of Bo and Luke Duke. They are, however, much less inclined to getting into trouble.
Nook’s Cranny gives players the perfect opportunity to make money in the game. Having both Nook boys available from morning to late at night means that players have numerous hours to catch wildlife and collect items and sell them. On top of this, the box outside of Nook’s Cranny is available all the time.
It can, however, become a bit frustrating for those players who want to see full value for the items they are trying to sell but miss out onwhen Nook’s Cranny is open on theirAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsisland. Either way, this fan art transports the adorable Timmy and Tommy to a wild world in a great way.
