The thrilling enigma among the diverse and incredible characters of theAmerican Horror Storyfranchise is precisely what keeps viewers coming back for more. After the last season ofAmerican Horror Storyaired in 2019, fans are finally getting a spin-off series with Hulu’sAmerican Horror Stories.
After numerous delays due to the pandemic since it was first announced last spring,the long-awaitedAmerican Horror Storiesfinally has a teaser trailer and a little more information regarding the elusive spin-off series. The teaser trailer takes the viewer through an incredibly disturbing scene, giving audiences a glimpse at the insanity and supernatural peril.

The teaser has a lot in store forfans ofAmerican Horror Story. TheAmerican Horror Storiespreview showcases the haunted house from the classic first season of the original show. It also centers around a woman in a black rubber suit who first beckons the viewer to follow her into the haunted house. As she enters, the woman takes in her surroundings, which consists of rooms and hallways full of chaos, torture, and threatening and horrific-looking spirits of all sorts. In the middle of the trailer, she crosses paths with the rubber man, who is also from the first season ofAmerican Horror Story. Fans of the show know a little bit about the rubber man but the origin of the rubber woman and what her purpose is remains a complete mystery.
American Horror Storyis iconic for the new and different stories it presents each season.American Horror Storieswas announcedby the original show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, last fall. It was revealed that the new spin-off show would consist of 16 one-hour-long episodes based around different horror myths and lore. Ryan Murphy is also a co-creator on all previous seasons ofAmerican Horror Story.
American Horror Stories' castand other details have not yet been announced, although there have been some rumors and set pictures released in the past few months. Some actors that were shown to been on set include Nico Greetham (The Prom), Kevin McHale (Glee), Dyllón Burnside (Pose), andCharles Melton (Riverdale). Sarah Paulson, a fan-favorite actress who appeared in many seasons ofAmerican Horror Story, has also been rumored to be directing at least one episode.
The cryptic and dark teaser, along with a great absence of details around the show, is sure to promise a spin-off series full of scares and surprises for fans. You won’t want to watch it alone.
